In the beginning, however, there was an orchard. The orchard was founded in the 30s of the XX by my grandfather Teodor Lipecki; now the street where the Nursery is situated bears his name. Orchard traditions in my family, however, dates back much earlier. My great-grandfather – Stanisław Zaborowski was a fruit-grower in the XIX century. He was one of the earliest fruit-growers in Podlasie region. The gardening, so that first of all scientifically, was a successful activity of my Dad - Janusz Lipecki, a professor at the University of Life Sciences (formerly the Agricultural Academy) in Lublin and doctor honoris causa at the University of Agriculture in Krakow. I, however, after graduating from the Agricultural University in Lublin, decided to devote myself to nursering and produce planting stock that can satisfy even the most exacting growers. From that moment I continually strive to improve the quality of the produced materials by the legal introduction of the newest varieties available on the market, using the most modern methods of production and storage and increasing quality of the service. I also cooperate with the biggest nursuries in Europe in production and sale of planting stock.
For many years I have been a member of the Polish Nurserymen Association, which I am now honored to serve as President. I am also a board member of the Society for Promotion of Dwarf Fruit Orchards and a member of the Scientific Council of the Research Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice nominated by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
I invite you to cooperate with us!
Maciej Lipecki
